Revival

Hey guys! Been a long time since I blogged. The reason A levels and othe commitments.
Since it's done and over with, I'm trying to revive it with frequent posts (once a week at least).

Hostel life has been pretty boring for the past six months. Everyone seems to be bogged down by exams and studies. Even the usual "kakis" didn't used to hang out anymore. Either they'll be in their rooms swallowing the whole text book or they'll be out for a quick dinner and then back to the books. It was in fact the very final 6 months of our 2 year A level programme, and ,expectedly, everyone was trying to do their best to make their way into the best universities in Britain. But I think most of them sacrificed a lot of their free time for studies and books otherwise all that stuff your mom used to warn you about "so that you won't end up being a garbageman" will come true.

Was it worth it? I mean for some of us, it was still ok to come down and play a little sport to just keep ourselves going physically as well as mentally. But if the books dominate our lives( like for most of them), what was going to happen to our social lives? It's like, meeting no one but lecturers( who either want the best out of you or they don't give a damn) and, classmates ( who are very busy studying) and the books (who want you to put them down cos they are tired of being held for 4 hours non-stop) only for the whole 6 months!

How could they live such pathetic lives? Balancing their time is very important in this case as, after 6 months of no interaction with the outside world..We'll take some time before we get back to our usual style of communicating wirh people..Sort of a cooling period.

live your lives guys..Doesn't matter if its exams or not..Just live your life ..Balance it well..You'll do fine even if you spend some idle time eating a little longer or catching up with news from friends far away..

(Revival going steady!)
