Separated by time and distance

That's a phase of life which I had to go through during college life.

It's like you can't have the best of both worlds. You can't have your friends and your girlfriend together with your family. Either family or friends and girlfriend. It's a no-brainer really as I can't really choose as I have no option here.

But the fact is that is I hate it when I can't decide. It's beyond my control and it hurts a lot because you know neither of these group can replace the other.

As I'm now leaving for London, I'll be without both groups now as I form a new circle of friends there. So things would be interesting, just like it was when I was at college. Testing the market and getting to know strangers better, who would eventually become buddies.

This phase will be different this time around. Foreign country, lots of foreigners, and very few Malaysians, and no family and girlfriend. Sigh..

I'll take it as a challenge and survive in this foreign land!!
