I've been inspired

Inspired by Dania's blog to write some ramblings. Cos I think I'm too self conscious and keep a lot of secrets.

Anyway, here goes one random thought.

I was just thinking about this the other day.

You know, when people say I love you, it's not exactly true.

It's like, at first you are attracted to someone, cos of his or her nature, or just some crazy thing in that person that you just adore.

Let's name them Tom and Carol. I'm turning this into a story to avoid confusion.

So, Tom finds Carol very charming and she just keeps on talking and talking, and in a weird way that he feels good about it, not to say Carol actually did anything to him.

And soon, Tom asks Carol out , and she agrees to be his girlfriend. Like most guys he's proud to have a girlfriend.

So, Tom starts to spend more time with Carol, you know, after work, at the bar, fishing, in the library, clubbing, you name it.

They got along pretty well.

And eventually the got married.

Happy ending eh?

And everyone thinks they're in love. No people, it's not like that.

They just got used to each other's ways. The way the talk, the way they do stuff. the way they irritate, the way they snored, the way the sang in the bathroom.
That's all. It's not love.

It's not that Tom liked everything about Carol, but he got used to it.

So if you fall for a person, ask yourself if you're really in love or you just got used to it.

Hope to hear from you people out there about this thought!

Till then..
