Volunteer for London
Signed up for LSE's Tutoring Scheme where we get to help out teachers at local schools.
And during the introductory speech, the lady started off by saying that, if you live in a community, you should give back to them in some way possible, cos it's like a family.
I thought, well, sounds fair to me. Would be a great experience, meeting kids and teaching them new stuff, brushing up my communication skills and listening to superiors ( what could beat that feeling ??? ).
But then, what sort of family discriminates me into paying 7 times the amount compared to the local kids in tuition fees? Probably it's time I made a report to the Family Tribunal. ( if there's such a thing)
Anyway, back to the Volunteer Scheme, it goes on for 12 weeks, and we have to go to the assigned school for 4 hours a week. In some way or another, we have to help out the teachers and influence the kids and some how motivate them in their work.
Think it's about time I motivated people to be proud and to love themselves.
Wish me luck.
