It has been a disastrous start to the season for my team. Two draws and a loss. And the loss came just hours ago against a new-look Manchester City side, who at this stage are simply unpredictable, as almost the new team is made up of new faces.

With Rooney out with a broken foot (again!!!!!) and Ronaldo red-carded for apparently head-butting a Portsmouth player (TV replays weren't as clear as I expected them to be in showing his apparent head-butt), my team were struggling to find their goalscoring touch against Man City.

The saddest bit is that, with only one shot one target in the whole match, Man City won it with that single kick. Geovanni, curled the ball past Vidic with his outer left foot, into the bottom right corner of Van der Sar's goal.

Man Utd threw everything at the Man City goal. With Man Utd legend's son - Kasper Schmeichel - between the posts for Man City, Man Utd were really out of luck. Vidic struck the crossbar, Tevez went close twice from putting the ball in the back of the net.

Quite disappointed.

On the lighter side, the Arsenal keeper, Jens Lehmann keeps amusing me with his antics. After his pass to a Fulham striker a week ago, this time he let a shot from David Dunn of Blackburn, bounce of his gloves, into the goal. And Arsenal dropped 2 precious points to score a 1-1 draw at Ewood Park.

It's still 1-1 at Anfield, where Liverpool are entertaining Chelsea, with goals from new-signing Fernando Torres, and ever-reliable Frank Lampard off a spotkick.

Till then people.

Enjoy the summer before it's gone.
