It never felt better...to fall off a chair and have half the college look at you when you are down...and yet I can get up and laugh at myself without actually feeling embarassed!!
That's what happened to me on last Monday when I was in the library. I left class quickly after my Pure Maths lecture and decided to pick a quiet spot in one of those squarish cubicles and placed my books down, writing away whatever homework I could finish within that 2 hour break. And while I was pondering over this particular question, little did I realise that I was going to experience something that I will never forget. So, I leant backwards on my chair, now balancing myself on the 2 out of 4 legs of that ergonomically designed chair.
I felt gravity was getting stronger by the nanosecond and I thought I was going to fly, and the next minute I was on the floor with everyone else looking at me. Point to consider, the rest of the library crowd was just staring at me.
I got up silently and could see the eyes of every being looking at me as if I had committed some horrible offence. And I was laughing at myself because I couldn't imagine myself falling in front of a crowd like that.....hhahahahhahahahahahah!!!!!!!!
LAUGH AT YOURSELF AND SEE WHAT IT FEELS LIKE...TO ME IT WAS GREAT...IT TEACHES YOU HUMILITY!!!!!!!
