Sir: So you are planning to get married someday?
Me: Yes, hopefully.
Sir: And do you think your wife will be working?
Me: No, I'd rather she stay at home and look after the kids.
Sir: So you'd rather lock your wife up in the kitchen with the kids while you have your fun out there?
Me: No, that's not what I meant.
Class: (Looks at me in disbelief and labels me in their mind as a male chauvinist pig, living up to the Indian male stereotype, ordering their women around.)
This Sir made me realise that
1) Something innocent could be interpreted otherwise depending on your perception of the issue.
2) It's better to be conservative and precise in your explanation, rather than leave it to the listener to make it's own conclusion as your might end up being a pig like me.
3) Law does not have to be boring.
You are a great man.
Rest in peace Mr Ananth.

Hello there :) I was at the wake of my former KDU breakfast buddy. Took me some time to believe that it was really him lying there, for good. Seems like only last month that we were sitting 'by the waterfall' having half boiled eggs and coffee. We would have half boiled eggs (2 each) on Mondays cos we reckoned that the college got its fresh supply of eggs on Monday. How are you, Deepak? Still in London, or in Prai?
Hey Mr Warren,
Good to hear from you. I am great, as always. Working now in sweet Bolehland. What are you up to nowadays?
It took me by surprise when I heard the news. Hope he looked peaceful when you saw him.
Oh, you're back in Bolehland. Where? Anywhere near where I hang out (Technology Park Malaysia, and Berjaya Times Square). I'm still teaching, and intend to do so until I drop :)
Not really, still up north. Will let you know once I'm down near where you hang out. Cheers!
